The Global Gaming League (GGL), a league of celebrity-owned teams structured like the NFL meets WWE, that compete in multi-title video game matches, announced that Atari has given permission for classic titles to be included in its first season.
NE-YO won the tie-breaker, and the overall match, so his team advances to the championship in November. The teams for the next match will be announced soon.
The livestreamed tournament itself was a fun time. The two teams competed in front of an arena full of fans and celebrities, going head-to-head in Tetris, TrackMania, Tony Hawk, and Call of Duty. To make things more intense, the score was 2-2.
